Edgar Grant SEELEY Chemical operator No services are planned for Edgar G. Seeley of Eugene, who died Aug. 21 at age 65. Seeley’s family did not disclose the cause of his death. He was born Sept. 18, 1927, in Johnstown, Pa. Seeley served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He married Margaret Hines on Dec. 6, 1950, in Long Beach, Calif. Seeley worked as a chemical operator for the Monsanto Corp for 30 years. He was a scoutmaster for both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. His interests included fishing, yardwork, television and watching football. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Grant of Westminister, Colo., and Brian and Scott, both of Eugene; a daughter, Susan Ward of Grants Pass; and six grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
