Hold Death Inquiry

Oregon City, Jan. 15, Fred Seely, 67, who had been living along on a farm in Wilsonville district, was found dead near his house Tuesday. Sheriff Fred Reaksecker started an investigation. He learned that Seely and a friend had been drinking Monday and that the companion left and upon returning Tuesday found the body lying between the barn and the house. Deputy County Coroner Arnold Bierman said an autopsy would be performed – Journal.

LATER – (The findings of the Coroner were that death was from natural caused.)

FRED SEELY

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Hollingsworth chapel for Fred Seely, 67, lifelong resident of Sherwood route 2, who died January 14. He leaves a son, Floyd F., of Portland; two brothers, Art of Wilsonville and Ed in California and four sisters, Mrs. Alpha Krause, Mrs. Pearl Snyder, and Mrs. Arabelle Kotovsky of North Bend.
