Hubert J. Seeley

Services for Hubert J. Seeley, 70, of 2110 N.W. Hayes Ave., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Northwest Hills Baptist Church. The Rev. Dennis Kizzlar will officiate. Private burial will be in Twin Oaks Cemetery.

Mr. Seeley drowned Sept. 30 when the fishing boat he was sailing in capsized off the Newport coast.

He was a mechanic for the Wilson Motors Ford dealership until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the Northwest Hills Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret L. of Corvallis; sons, Farrel “Sid” of San Jose, Calif., Al E., and Merle L. of Eugene and Jerry M. of Albany; two daughters, Lois Tollison of Portland and Kathryn D. Bishop of Bend, and 13 grandchildren.

DeMoss-Durdan Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
