Ida Pauline Oliphant-Seeley

Ida Pauline Oliphant-Seeley, 87, of Cave Junction died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995 at home.

A private memorial service was held with burial following at Laurel Cemetery in Cave Junction. Slawson’s Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home, Grants Pass, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Oliphant-Seeley was born June 7, 1907 near Cainsville, Mo. She married and moved to Ridgeway, Mo., where she raised her two daughters.

In 1935 she lived in Bethany and Browning, Mo. She moved in 1938 to California, where she raised three children from her marriage to Paul Seeley. They moved to Cave Junction in 1992 from Carpenteria, Calif. He died in March 1994.

Mrs. Seeley is survived by four daughters, June Adamson Fitzsimmons of Lakewood, Calif and Jan Adamson Guthrie of Overland Park, Kana., Anne Seeley Birch of Cave Junction, and Pat Seeley Moorehead of Ridgecrest, Calif.; and a son Robert Seeley of New Mexico; and 53 grandchildren, great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren.
