Rites Conducted for Mrs. Seeley

Isabell (Bell) Seeley, 94, passed away at the home of her daughter at Bell Mountain, near Willamina, early Sunday morning, May 24.

She was born at Harpers Ferry, Iowa in March of 1850. A member of the University Park Congregational church of Portland, she held the oldest membership in the Congregational church in Oregon. She was also a member of H.B. Compson Relief corps, Marietta Rebekah lodge No. 72, and past president of Womens Elks. She is survived by five daughters; Mrs. Ida Dundas of Willamina; Mrs. Hazel Ardiel of Salem; Mrs. Jennie McGlumphy of Manzanita; Mrs. Florence Benhart of Leeds, South Dakota; and Mrs. Mildred White of Reedsport; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted from Mikeworth’s Peninsula Funeral home, Portland, at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Interment was in the family plot in Rose City cemetery.
