SEELEY - John R. Seeley M.D. of 1573 Skyline Park Loop, Eugene, passed away July 25, 1977 at the age of 69. He was born May 11, 1908. He married his wife, Jean in Eugene, June 1973. Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons; John P. of Hermiston, Idaho, William O. of Denver, Colorado; a son, James preceded him in death in 1976. 3 brothers: William of Salem, Everett of San Diego, Mark of San Francisco; a grandson and 5 granddaughters. He graduated from the U of O Medical School in 1938; he practiced medicine in Marshfield from 1939 to 1942, when he entered the U.S. Army and served until 1945; he moved to Eugene and practiced medicine until his retirement in 1974. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Medical Foundation in care of Sacred Heart Hospital. Poole-Larsen Chapel Crematorium in charge of arrangements.
