Marie Seeley

Marie Anna Seeley, a Portland area resident since the 1950s, died Tuesday in a Portland nursing home. She was 95. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Cochran’s Sunset Chapel, Gladstone, with vault interment in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Seeley was born in Pleasant Hill, Mo., and moved to Dallas, Ore., in 1944. She was a Gladstone resident and a member of First Baptist Church of Gladstone, the Gladstone Garden Club and the Golden Age Group of Gladstone.

Surviving are two daughters, Ida Winningham of Gold Beach and Nora Blackney of Fontana, Calif.; two sons, Gordon “Tony” Seeley of Cornelius and Ben Seeley of Milwaukie; two sisters, Lillie Petersen of Boise, Idaho, and Oscar Nicholson of Blue Springs, Mo.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
