DEATH OF B.F. SEELY

Benjamin Franklin Seely died of cancer at the Emmanuel hospital, Portland, last Friday, aged 70 years. Mortician E.N. Hall brought the remains to Woodburn and the funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Zion church, Bishop Troyer officiating. There was an attendance of about 200 old friends. Interment was in Zion cemetery.

Mr. Seely was born at Brownsville December 12, 1857. He moved to this section many years ago and married Mary Fry in 1900. To this union were born two sons and a daughter Mildred. The sons live at Lake Labish and the daughter, Mrs. Hollister, resides in Portland. He also leaves distant relatives. Mr. Seely farmed east of Woodburn and was well thought of by his neighbors.
