Mamie Amanda SEELY

Mamie Amanda Seely - May 30, 1892 – Sept. 21, 1981

WOODBURN – Mamie Amanda Seely, 99, died Saturday.

She was born in Sullivan, Mo., and lived in Minnesota before moving to Woodburn in 1910.

She married Blaine Seely on July 24, 1927, in Woodburn; he died in 1953.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Woodburn United Methodist Church and a volunteer for Oregon Hope and Help. She enjoyed making quilts and knitting for the needy.

She is survived by her nieces, Lois Wengenroth, Shirley Bond, Lois Garber, Lucille Mains, Laverne Johanson; and nephews, Lyman and Norman Seely, Hugh Hughes, and Stanley Sybrandt.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday in the church. Private entombment will be at Belle Passi Memorial Mausoleum. Arrangement are by Cornwell mortuary.
