Pearl Elizabeth SEELY Services Held For Pearl E. Seely SHERWOOD – Funeral for Mrs. Pearl E. Seely was held in the Mannenbach’s Sherwood Chapel Monday, Jan. 4 with the Rev. Hugh Tattersall, pastor of the Wilsonville Methodist church officiating. Vault interment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery, under the direction of Mannenbach’s Funeral chapel. Mrs. Seely was born Pearl Tewksbury in Kansas City, Mo., November 1883 and died in the Newberg Community hospital December 31 following an illness of three days. She was married to Arthur Seely in the Hood View church on Parrett Mountain November 12, 1901 and made her home in the Wilsonville community for 63 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George (Mae) Battalgia of Gaston, and Mrs. Frank (Vida) Oldenstadt of Sherwood; a son, Lyle F. Seely, Prairie City, Ore., a sister, Mrs. Blanche Gronke of Salem; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
