Ralph Kenneth SEELY WOODBURN – Ralph K. Seely, 84, 399 Elm St., died Saturday at a Woodburn convalescent center. Born in Wilsonville, he operated a farm on Union School Road east of here 49 years before retiring and moving to Woodburn 10 years ago. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are widow Ada; sons Lyman, Aurora, Norman, Woodburn; daughters Lois Wengenroth, Woodburn, Shirley Bond, Hillsboro; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ringo – Cornwell mortuary, Rev. James J. Egly officiating. Interment will be in Belle Passi Cemetery. Born in Wilsonville, he was the grandson of early Oregon pioneers who came there in 1851, and he farmed in the Union school area for almost 50 years before retiring and moving to Woodburn where he was a member of the Presbyterian church. In 1914, Mrs. Seely was married to Ada Hughes, who survives him. Survivors, besides his widow, include sons, Lyman of Aurora and Norman of Woodburn; daughters, Lois Wengenroth of Woodburn and Shirley Bond of Hillsboro; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 12, in the Ringo-Cornwell Colonial Chapel, Rev. James K. Egly officiated. Interment was in Belle Passi cemetery.
