Robert Ira Seely

Robert Ira Seely passed away at his home Sunday evening. He had spent his entire lifetime on the farm on which he was born in a log cabin December 26, 1859, the son of Lucius A. and Sophia Seely.

Surviving are the widow Nettie; seven children – Cora Cuthill, Edna Boeckmann, Jasper M. Seely, Milton J. Seely, Inez Wheaton, Dora Alsop and Chester W. Seely; one brother, J.L. Seely.

He was a member of Wilsonville M.E. church in which funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Willard H. Pope, of Calvary Tabernacle, Portland, officiating. Interment was in the family lot in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
