Sarah D. SEELY MRS. SEELY DIES AT MERCY HOSPITAL Mrs. Sarah D. (Kirby) Seely, mother of Dr. A.C. Seely, of this city, died last night at Mercy hospital after a lingering illness. For many months she had been quite feeble but only recently was she taken to the hospital where her condition became serious, finally resulting in her death. Mrs. Seely was born at Addison, Ohio, on Nov. 16, 1850, spending her early life there, until her marriage Feb. 9, 1868, to Samuel M. Seely, when she went to reside at Rosewood, Ohio. Following the death of her husband in 1894 she traveled quite extensively throughout the United States until the marriage of her only son, Dr. Seely, since which time she has made her home with him. She was affiliated with the Christian church, of Ohio, and was a member of the Rebekah lodge at Rosewood, Ohio, and of the Rising Star at St. Paris, Ohio. She has one brother living, he being the only relative other than her son. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at the Roseburg Undertaking Parlors, Rev. J.C. Spencer, of the Methodist church, officiating. Dr. Seely will leave Sunday night with the body for Rosewood, Ohio, where interment will take place.
