Stella Dell SEELY MRS. SEELY DIES AT SON’S HOME
Mrs. Stella Dell Seely who, for this past year, had made her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd G. Seely, two miles north of Corvallis, passed away this morning, Wednesday, following a brief illness from pneumonia. Mrs. Seely was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Kirkpatrick and spent her girlhood at Aumsville, Oregon. In 1902 she was married to Curtis R. Seely of Alsea and the couple resided at Alsea where Mr. Seely passed away on March 2 last year. Mrs. Seely was a member of the Christian church at Aumsville and of the Corvallis chapter of the Women’s Relief Corps. Surviving with the son and daughter-in-law are two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Amend of Portland and Miss Clara Kirkpatrick of Alboin, Idaho, and one brother, J.E. Kirkpatrick of Salem. The remains are at the Keeney funeral home in this city. The final rites will be held from the Methodist Episcopal church at Alsea Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with Rev. W.D. Risley officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in the Alsea cemetery.
