Death of Stephen Seely

Stephen Bishop Seely died last Friday afternoon at the home of his son, Blaine Seely, with whom he and his wife had been living for the past year after disposal of his farm at Wilsonville to his son Raymond. Deceased was 70 years of age and a native Oregonian, having been born near Wilsonville. He leaves a widow, seven children and grandchildren, and was a highly esteemed resident. He was a farmer all of his life. His children are Charles Seely, Dayton, Wash.; Mrs. Frank Brobst and Raymond Seely, Wilsonville; Mrs. Oscar Larson, Bert, Blaine and Ralph Seely, Route 3, Woodburn. Three children from this union preceded him. The funeral was Sunday afternoon, services being held at the old Seely home near Wilsonville. Interment was in the Stafford cemetery.
