Carl Benbow SEELY Carl Benbow Seely (Smith Funeral Home) BICKLETON – Carl Benbow Seely, 86, longtime Bickleton resident, died Sunday in the East Morland Hospital, Portland. He was born in Cottonwood County, Minn. At an early age, he moved with his family to Corvallis, Ore., where he received his education. On Sept. 27, 1911, he married Teressa Wilson in Corvallis. They moved to the Bickleton area where he farmed a small acreage and was employed by the Klickitat County Road Department for over 30 years. After his retirement, he continued to make his home at Bickleton and during the winter months made his home at Eagle Creek, Ore. Survivors include his wife, Teressa Seely of Bickleton; two sons, Harold Seely of Eagle Creek, Ore., and Darrell Seely of Connell; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Leona) Clark of Bickleton and Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Marvel of Eagle Creek, Ore.; one sister Mrs. Elizabeth Nygaard of Roosevelt; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathryn Seely. Rev. William R. Meyer of the Bickleton Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will be at the Oddsfellows Cemetery at Bickleton.
