Harry Sothard SEELY

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, in Vancouver Funeral Chapel for Harry Sothard Seely, who died Nov. 20 at age 82.

Mr. Seely was born Aug. 30, 1919, in Cottage Grove. He served in the U.S. Army for 10 years and later in the U.S. Air Force for 11 years, including service during World War II and the Korean War. He retired from the military in 1958 and was a warehouseman for Fred Meyer until retiring in 1980. He moved to Vancouver in 1968. In 1959, he married Janie M. Stoner.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Judith A. Paul and Barbara Kotey; sisters, Dorothy Godfrey and Margaret White; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Interment in Willamette National Cemetery. Remembrances to Parkrose Masonic Lodge No. 179. Arrangements by Davies Cremation.
