Anna Belle SEELY WOODBURN – Woodburn area native Mrs. Anna B. Seely, 82, died Monday at a Sublimity nursing home where she had been a patient six years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ebenezer Townsend, early day settlers who farmed east of here near an old railroad station named Townsend Station for the family. She resided in the area all her life, farming here with her husband Burt Seely. He died in 1936 and for many years she was employed at Birds Eye food plant here. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge at Monitor. Surviving are sons Harold of Hubbard, Glenn of Woodburn; daughter Mrs. Audrey Ann Morley of Slayton; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Ringo-Cornwell chapel, interment in Belle Passi Cemetery. Statesman Journal (Salem, Oregon), Page 8, Tuesday, April 4, 1967.
