Hall Seely Doctor Hall Seely SEELY, Hall, Doctor – 71, of Roseburg, passed away at a Roseburg hospital, September 14, 1979. He was born November 17, 1907, in Portland. He has lived most of his life in this area. On September 23, 1946, in Oakland, California, he was married to Helen Smith. He was a graduate of the Roseburg High School, attended Harvard Medical School, was an undergraduate of Yale, a Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Air Force in World War II, and was a member of both the Roseburg Elks Lodge #326 and the Douglas County Medical Society. Survivors are his wife, Helen of Roseburg; 2 sons, Hall Seely Jr. of Newport Beach, California and John Seely of Roseburg; and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 17, 1979, at 2 P.M. at the Long and Shukle Memorial Chapel, with Chaplin Emmett Dosier officiating. Private vault interment will follow at the Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the Douglas County Library as a memorial in his name. These may be left at the library or the Long and Shukle Chapel.
