Harold Lamar SEELY

Harold Lamar Seely Aug. 12, 1908 – Jan. 28, 1992

HUBBARD – Harold Lamar Seely, 83, died Tuesday in Oregon City.

A native of Woodburn, he attended Oregon State College and graduated from Monmouth Normal School before settling in Hubbard.

He married Henriette Whitney.

He was an elementary school teacher for 43 years, retiring in 1973.

He was a member of the Oregon Education Association.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Harold B. of Tonganoxie, Kan., and Michael of Portland; daughters, Kathleen Nelson of San Marcos, Calif.; and Patty Heckel of Queens, N.Y.; sister Audrey Morely of Stayton; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn. Interment will be at Rock Creek Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
