Published in the Sunday Oregonian, August 19, 1962, page 40 Last Rites Held For Helen Seely SHERWOOD – Funeral services were conducted Monday, Aug. 20, for Helen Augusta Seely at Sherwood Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Paul Walker of the Sherwood Methodist church officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Hill cemetery with Mannenbach Funeral Chapel in charge. Mrs. Seely passed away at her home on Route 4, Sherwood, Thursday, Aug. 16, after a brief illness. She was born June 12, 1897, in Wymore, Neb., daughter of George and Jennie Worth, moving to Oregon in 1915, and lived in Wilsonville for 15 years. She was married to Sherman Seely on May 1, 1920, in Sherwood, and is survived by Mr. Seely; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Snyder of Newberg, Mrs. Donna Berdine of Los Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Reta Laborusse of Portland; two sons, Pfc Larry Seely with the U.S. Army in Germany, and Roger Seely, Sherwood; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Davis of Oakland, Oregon, and Mrs. Ila Haywood of Portland, and 13 grandchildren.
