Seely Services Set for Sept. 2

Redmond, Aug. 31 – John Clayton Seely of Metolius died Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the St. Charles Memorial hospital in Bend after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his widow, Daisy; two sons, Charles and Edward; two daughters, Mavis and Mavene, all of Metolius; a sister, Eliza McMahn of Medford and four brothers Lester Seely of Akron, Iowa, Glen and Melvin of Madison, S.D., and Floyd of Gettysburg, S.D.

Mr. Seely was born in Big Springs, S.D., Dec. 13, 1904. He had lived in Oregon for 16 years and in Metolius for one year.

Funeral services are to be held Sunday, September 2, at 2 p.m. at the Culver Christian church with Rev. Wayne Osborne officiating. Interment will be in the Methodist Hill cemetery at Metolius. Zacher Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
