On Saturday, February 9th, at 2 p. m., at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Seeley of Lakeville, occurred the marriage of their only daughter, Bessie Mae, to Glenn Richard Glover, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ethan Glover of Wayland, Rev. Haynes, pastor of Lakeville Community church officiating. The double ring ceremony was used and the bride was given in marriage by her father. The ceremony was performed before an arch of evergreens and pink and white sweet peas. The rest of the house was decorated in the same color scheme by the Bon Ton flower shop of Livonia. The bride wore white georgette, beaded with pearl and crystal, and a veil of white net and lace, and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses. Her attendant was Miss Elizabeth Acker of Rochester, who wore coral chiffon velvet, and carried blush roses. Mr. Glover was attended by his brother, Willis H. Glover, of Rochester. The wedding march was played by Miss Gladys Glover of Binghamton, a sister of the groom. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at a table decorated with pink and white carnations and roses. The bride and groom were the recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts. Pre-nuptial events were a theater party and shower at the "Auld Hoose", in Rochester, by Miss Elizabeth Acker, and a linen shower by Mrs. Harry Gilbert of Livonia. After a wedding trip by motor, Mr. and Mrs. Glover will be at home to their friends at 307 West Naples street, Wayland.
