Oma Seeley - Irvin W. Cordts

CORDTS – SEELEY

Announcement was made today of the marriage of Irvin W. Cordts of Tuscola and Miss Oma Seeley of this city which took place Friday, Aug. 23, in Tuscola. The ceremony was performed in the Presbyterian manse in that city by Rev. E. LeRoy Steffy, with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Highland of Champaign, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, as attendants.

For her wedding Miss Seeley wore an Alice blue sheer lace informal dress with dusty rose accessories and a corsage of dusty pink roses. Mrs. Highland wore a navy blue dress with white accessories and a corsage of white roses.

After the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cordts, uncle and aunt of the groom living near Tuscola, entertained at dinner for them. Mr. and Mrs. Cordts then left on a wedding trip through the Ozarks and will be at home after Sept. 10 in Tuscola.

Mr. Cordts, a son of Mrs. John Cordts of Atwood, operates a garage is Tuscola. Mrs. Cordts, a daughter of Mrs. Ben Drum of Lerna, has made her home in this city for several years and for time has been employed in the Buckler-Moore cafeteria.
