President A. George Raymond officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Following the rites a wedding breakfast at the Tropical Restaurant in Brigham City was enjoyed by members of the family and guests. That evening the young couple was further honored at a reception in the Lorin Farr LDS Stake Center. A dainty pink and silver color scheme prevailed with the cake table featuring a three-tiered cake topped by a miniature bride and bridegroom containing a music box which played the bridal march from Lohengrin. The lace cloth on the table was tied at each corner with pink ribbons. Crystal candelabra holding tall pink tapers were on each side. The couple greeted guests before a lighted flower-banked arch, white candelabra and baskets of pink gladoli surrounded by green and silver leaves. The bride was dressed in an exquisite gown of white nylon tulle over white satin with a front insert of white Chantilly lace. The shirred bodice at the back extended into a long chapel train also styled from Chantilly lace. Her should length veil of white nylon tulle fell from a tiara of silver and pink sequins. Her bridal bouquet was of pink rosebuds and white carnations with cascading pink rosebuds on white satin streamers. Attending the bride were Geraldine Hansen as maid of honor, Joanne Wheeler and Gaylene McKinstry as bridesmaids and Mary Lynn Johnson, and Carol Ann Holbrook as flower girls. All were attired in identical pink embossed taffeta gowns and white gloves. They held nosegays of white and pink carnations. Duties of the best man were assumed by Dick Johnson, brother of the bridegroom. Users were Keith M. Seeley and Joyce Myers. After a honeymoon trip to California the newlyweds will reside at 684 Kershaw. The bride was entertained at prenuptial parties given by Geraldine Hansen, Joanne Wheeler and Mrs. Norma Holbrook.
