Mrs. James Seeley (Lydia Millison), whose marriage to James Seeley, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Seeley of Franklin Furnace, was recently announced, was honor guest at a miscellaneous shower given Friday night at the home of Mrs. Howard Henson, 728 Eighth street. Mrs. Seeley is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Millison of Carrey’s Run. The marriage took place in Lexington last October and had been kept a secret. Mr. Seeley is a graduate of Green Township High school and both he and Mrs. Seeley are employed by Vulcan Corp. Mrs. Henson was assisted by her sisters, Mrs. Ruth Disterdick and Miss Elizabeth Seeley. The evening was spent playing fames. Those present included: Mrs. John Millison, Mrs. Amos Seeley Sr., Mrs. Farrel Vaughters, Mrs. Paul Jones, Mrs. Ralph Millison, Mrs. Frank Millison, Mrs. Herschel Spence, Mrs. Amos Seeley Jr., Misses Emma Hanshaw, Jean Vaughters, Ruth Millison, Helen Freyermuth and Wilma Jean Spence.
