Miss Phyllis M. Sweet, a corporal in the U.S. Marines, and Richard E. Seeley, a lance corporal, were married March 20 in the Baptist Church at Cherry Point, N.C.

The maid of honor at the wedding was Sgt Phyllis Trump.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the couple’s new home in Cherry Point.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sweet of Saranac Lake and a 1968 graduate of Saranac Lake High School. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley E. Seeley of Orlando, Fla. He is a graduate of Warren, Ohio, Western Reserve.
