Seeley-Boyce Nuptials Announced In a double ring ceremony Sunday afternoon, Oct. 9, in St. Peter’s church, Miss Bette Jean Boyce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Davis, Bircher avenue, was wed to Ronald Edward Seeley. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orval Brown, 43 Kelsey road. The Rev. Francis X. Harper, assistant pastor of the church, officiated at the 2:45 o’clock ceremony. Bouquets of snapdragon in pink, white, and yellow were used on the altar. Miss Marguerite Flaherty, soloist, sang “Ave Maria,” “Mother Dear Pray for Me,” and “On This Day Oh Beautiful Mother.” Miss Laurena Light was the organist. Escorted by her father, the bride was dressed in white Chantilly lace over satin. Fashioned with a fitted bodice, the gown had a sweetheart neckline trimmed with sequins and a full skirt ending in a chapel train. Her veil of imported illusion was attached to a Juliet cap trimmed with seed pearls and rhinestones. She carried a mother-of-pearl prayer book marked with a white orchid. Miss Shirley Davis, the maid of honor, wore a strapless gown of peacock blue tulle over taffeta, with a lace jacket. Her headpiece was a crown of matching velvray petals covered with malene and her flowers, in cascade effect were of white gladioli tied with peacock blue ribbon. The Misses Barbara Kearney, Mary Sutka and Margaret Gress of this city, and Caroline Herrington, Wappingers Falls, were the bridesmaids. Their dresses were fashioned similar to the honor attendant’s, two in shrimp tulle over taffeta, and two in rose tulle. The headpieces matched their gowns, and the cascade bouquets of white gladiola were tied with corresponding ribbons to match their gowns. Wearing an emerald green satin sheath dress, the bride’s mother chose brown accessories and a corsage of talisman roses. Mrs. Brown, mother of the bridegroom, was dressed in royal blue velvet with black accessories. Her flowers were pink roses. Mrs. May Reeder, grandmother of the bride, wore a rose lace dress with black accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. Robert Seeley served as best man. Richard Davis, Vincent Sala, Joseph Fiacco, here, and John Guerelo, Hyde Park, were the ushers. There was a reception at the Hotel DiPrima, Highland, after the ceremony, where music for dancing was furnished by George Dunbar and his orchestra. Later the couple left there for a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, northern New York and Canada. The bride chose for traveling a rose knit suit, black accessories and an orchid corsage. They will live in 53 Garden street. Mrs. Seeley, a graduate of Roosevelt High school, is employed as a private secretary in the law office of Lloyd L. Rosenthal and Edward A. Miller.
