SEELEY – WERN WEDDING HELD At Home of the Bride’s Parents; To live in Pine Island Miss Katharine E. Wern, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wern, of 30 Commonwealth avenue, and Walter Sayer Seeley, were married at the home of the bride’s parents at 1 o’clock Wednesday, by Rev. G.A. Rechner, pastor of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, of which the bride is a member. The bride wore a gown of white georgette and a veil caught with orange blossoms. Miss Florence Wern, a sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She wore a gown of orchid georgette and carried a bouquet of orchid sweet peas. The bride carried a bouquet of roses. Clifford G. Tether, of Troy, was best man. The bridge received a pearl necklace as the present of the bridegroom. A platinum Shriners pin set with diamonds was the gift of the bride to the bridegroom. The gift of the bride to the bridesmaid was a pink sapphire ring. A set of gold cuff links was the gift of the bridegroom to his best man. A wedding supper was served after the ceremony, after which Mr. and Mrs. Seeley left for a wedding trip to Syracuse. On their return they will make their home at Pine Island where Mr. Seeley is engaged in business. Among the out of town guests in attendance at the ceremony were the following: Mr. and Mrs. James E. Andrew Knapp of Pine Island; Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Seely, Mr. and Mrs. J. Sayer Seely and Miss Gladys Seely, of Goshen; Mr. and Mrs. I.Y. Neale, Mr. and Mrs. W.H.
