Julia Elizabeth Seely Julia Elizabeth Seely Answers Final Call Mrs. Julia Elizabeth Seely, widow of the late Ed Seely, and a resident of the Union district for the past 47 years, died at her home Saturday morning. Mrs. Seely was born in Missouri, November 24, 1862. Her husband, Edwin R. Seely, died ten years ago. She was a member of the Rebekahs, the Bethel Presbyterian church, the Woodburn grange and was very highly respected. She had been a member of the grange for over 50 years. Surviving are six sons, Harry B., of Arlington, Perry W. of Gervais, Dennis I. and Lee T. of Salem, Roy L., and Percy H. of Woodburn; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Aker of Dayton, Wash., Mrs. Edna Stenger of Monitor, Mrs. Edith Lucht of Molalla and Mrs. Ethel Fox of Pomona, Cal.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Ellingson of Sherwood, Mrs. Ellen Seedling of Oswego and Mrs. Susie Gross of Oregon City, James and Charlie Turner of Dayton, Washington, 29 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The last sad rites were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist Episcopal church with Rev. J.M. Barber of Forest Grove, an old friend of the deceased, officiating, the church being filled. There were solos by Dr. Ethel K. Riley with Miss Wilma Morrison at the piano. Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Grace Skiller, Mrs. Ada Pomeroy, Mrs. Viola Stickland, Mrs. Lottie Fleegle, Mrs. Nellie Norton and Mrs. Ruby Conyne, all members of Frances Rebekah lodge of Monitor. Active pallbearers were George Sweany, Charles Skiller, William Giger, Albert Peterson, P.W. Owre and Charles Conyne. Interment was at Belle Passi cemetery where the ritualistic service of the Rebekahs was given by the officers of Frances lodge with Miss Margaret Brantner, noble grand, in charge. The Ringo Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
