Cleora L. SEELY Cleora L. Seely The funeral for Cleora L. Seely, 70, of 3848 S. Pacific Highway, Medford, who died Wednesday, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Apostolic Faith Church, Medford. The Rev. Norman R. Allen, pastor, will officiate, with Conger-Morris Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Committal will follow in Siskiyou Memorial Park. Mrs. Seely was born Aug. 1, 1907, in Willapa, Wash., the daughter of the late Harry F. and Effie Pankey Canton. The Cantons and the Pankeys were both longtime valley residents. On May 31, 1927 in Medford, she married the Rev. James E. Seely, who survives. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last May. She had been a member of the Apostolic Faith Church since 1921. She had worked with her husband as he pastered churches in Grants Pass, Roseburg, Chehalis, Wash and Port Angeles, Wash. In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by one daughter, Rozella Butts, Rogue River; one brother, Harry C. Canton, Vancouver, Wash.; three sisters, Annette Zedwick, Burbank, Calif., Ellanora Marks, Apache, Ariz., and Martha Muessig, Hermiston; two granddaughters and two great grandsons. Her son, Jimmy Seely died in 1952. Active pallbearers include Robert Myers, Wilmer Wallace, Homer Frymire, Eldon Chastain, Larry Schleigh, and Melvin Frost. Those who wish may pay their respects until 7:30 p.m. tonight and Friday in the Conger-Morris Downtown Chapel, 715 W. Main St., Medford.
