(Fiftieth Anniversary Announcement

Mr. and Mrs. Seely Feted On Anniversary

The Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Seeley of Eureka was attended by more than 360 guests Sunday afternoon, February 14. The open house party was held at their home, 251 Brett street from 2 to 5 p.m.

Four granddaughters, Marty Kahn and Cathy Seely, Jennifer and Deborah Seely, alternated at the guest book, assisted by Mrs. Arthur Seely and Mrs. Elmo Seely. The Seely’s daughter, Mrs. Burnell Kahn, welcomed the guests at the door assisted by Richard Seely.

The guests of honor also greeted the guests, Mrs. Seely’s lovely orchid corsage was a gift of Dr. Stanwood Schmidt and one grown at his own home in Eureka.

The many-tiered, decorated cake was served by Primo Marca of Ferndale. Assisting at the coffee and punch tables throughout the afternoon were Mesdames Clarence Heasman, George English, Earl Vann, George Niles, John MacPherson, Donald Lambert, Willard Nelson, Charles Shank and Hugo Sherman, Mrs. Richard Flannery had general charge of the serving.
