Out of guests included Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Kahn and children, Steve, Marty and Denise, all of San Lorenzo; Mrs. William Rice and Mrs. Bessie A. Kelly, both of Hermosa Beach; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson, Enid and Elaine of Myers Flat; Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Roscoe; Petrolia.

In addition to greetings from the guests attending the affair, the Seely’s received many congratulatory cards, telegrams and telephone messages from a distance, including more than 100 cards and 30 bouquets of flowers. Friends of their daughter, Mrs. Kahn, in San Lorenzo, sent to them a money tree as a special gift.

The Seely’s are among the most widely known residents of this area, both in the photographic field and also among civic and social groups. Both Mr. and Mrs. Seely are affiliated with many civic and service groups in this area.

They have four sons and one daughter: Richard, Elmo, Arthur, Robert and Olive (Mrs. Kahn.)

Their grandchildren, in addition to those previously mentioned are Denise Kahn, Kent, Curl, Richard, Stephan, Michael, Kevin, and Ned Seely and Stephen Kahn.

The home was beautifully decorated for the occasion, a color scheme of white and gold predominating among the many floral bouquets.
